Tekla Structures is a parametric modeling tool, including conceptual design, detailing, and fabrication. Models created with the software are accurate and detailed, allowing engineers to test the feasibility and identify problems of the project before starting the construction.
What’s more, Tekla has an open approach to BIM. It means that the user can run other providers’ solutions and fabrication machinery while still interface with Tekla. Also, the software has 30 localized environments and 14 user interface languages to make using and implementing the software easier around the world.
Tekla structure has been used in China, India, Finland and so on, for modeling stadiums, offshore structures, plants and factories, residential buildings, bridges and skyscrapers. In addition to Tekla, Trimble also has products for trades like logistics and agriculture.
