Review of Steel Build 2022

 

From August 9th to 11th, Steel Build 2022 was held in Area A of China Import and Export Fair Complex. Steel Build 2022 was co-located with a series of trade shows, covering construction, culture and tourism. Together, they occupied 21 exhibition halls, spanning 230,000 sq.m. Steel Build 2022 and CIHIE 2022 were supported by more than 300 industry leaders and professional media. More than 100,000 people visit online and offline. The show was a concentrated display of the latest technological results and advancements in prefabricated steel structure, multi-high-rise steel structure, large-span space steel structure, workshop steel structure, bridge steel structure, grid steel structure, etc., which has brought much amazement to industry insiders and exhibitors.

2022 International Prefabricated Building and Construction Robot Application Development Summit

 

Jointly hosted by Guangdong Provincial Society of Steel Construction, Prefabricated Building Technology Training Center of the Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Prefabricated Component Branch, and organized by Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group, the 2022 International Prefabricated Building and Construction Robot Application Development Summit was successfully staged on August 9th, attracting over 200 attendees from leading enterprises, trade associations, research institutes, universities, related government agencies, etc., covering fields like prefabricated buildings, intelligent construction, construction robots, automation technology, and so forth. Over 3,340 people watched the conference through online live-stream to together explore the development of prefabricated buildings and construction robot applications.

 

Themed on "Innovation and Development of Intelligent Manufacturing of Steel Structure", the conference has groundbreakingly adopted a online-offline hybrid format. Expert speakers on site shared the latest technological innovations and findings, exploring how artificial intelligence and robot technology could empower the construction industry, and putting forward new ideas and solutions for the intelligent and digital transformation of the industry. At the end of the meeting, Professor Wang Shitong commented that in order to realize all-round intelligent construction in the steel structure industry, it must start from design standardization and weight reduction, and the intelligent manufacturing of steel structures still has a long way to go.

GMC Bay Area Smart Prefabricated PC Component Factory Tour

 

On the afternoon of August 9th, as the co-organizer of CIHIE 2022, Guangzhou Municipal Construction Group (GMC) invited over 400 show attendees to visit its Bay Area Smart Prefabricated PC Component Factory, which has made one of the biggest highlight of CIHIE 2022. The tour was preceded by a welcome speech from Mr. Liang Huqing, Chairman of GMC. Other special guests included Zhang Yujiang, General Manger of GMC, Ma Zhencong, Vice General Manager of GMC, Tang Mengxiong, Chief Engineer of GMC, Cao Dayan, President of Guangdong Construction Engineering Green and Assembly Development Association, Li Dapeng, Former Director of Guangzhou Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, etc. The event was streamed live on online platform, attracting over 3700 viewers.

 

Eight experts shared their unique insights in prefabricated buildings, prefabricated decoration, PC components, green building materials, etc. Later, visitors were shown around the industrial park. GMC’s Bay Area Smart Prefabricated PC Component Factory Tour is the first key pilot project inside Jinbo Industrial Park. It is also among the first batch of national green industry demonstration bases in Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.

 

China Prefabricated Building Development Forum

 

To better facilitate exchanges and cooperation between prefabricated enterprises, promote the integrated development of prefabricated industries, and provide more opportunities for the transformation, upgrading and sustainable development of the industry, the 2022 China Prefabricated Building Development Forum was held on August 10th, jointly organized by Guangdong Prefabricated Construction Branch, Guangdong Feigong Prefabricated Technology, Guangdong Prefabricated Building Design Institute, Lingrui Construction Engineering and Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group.
